Not that I update this thing anyway, AND I tend to keep my own business to myself and not post dramu on my journal, but OH MY GOOOOOOD. I won't directly link for the sake of the person in question, but basically, someone I assumed was a 14 year old girl got a game for Christmas, spent ONE AND A HALF HOURS trying to get it to work, then broke it in half. An posted it. On an art site.

So I call this person out.

Lol, he's 43 and has kids.

"So... you spent one day trying to get a game to work... and instead of maybe being patient or trying to get support, you decided to smash the game. For the record, 2K games is not owned by Microsoft. So if you steal their game, it does nothing except... maybe help put them out of business.

And let's not even get into the fact that this item was a gift that someone spent money on for you. At the very least you could have had it returned."

"I spent about 90 minutes. READ first, then try to understand what you have read and THEN write. You are making a fool of yourself, kiddo. It´s pointless to discuss this with you, because you will need some more marbles to understand what this is all about *sigh*
If 2K goes out of business, because they are producing and selling rubbish, then the better. If they would give away their stuff for free I wouldn´t complain. But as soon as I PAY for it, I expect it to WORK. That might be stupid in your eyes, but then again I suppose that you are able to waste your time as much as you like. I am not and I don´t want to. MY time is precious to me. So is the money I am spending on things - no matter if it is software or whatever. If you are going to a restaurant, you expect your food to be alright. And if it is not, then you stand up and go. Well, at least I do that. You would discuss the issue with the chef, trying one meal after another, until the chef finally succeeds in producing an edible meal..."

"Also, this isn't art, etc etc"

"*lol* YOU want to discuss with me, whether something is art or not? *ROFL*"

And then he blocked me. I just... I'm dying XD This is just too funny to me! The only thing I'm mad about is that I can't reply to him. Because, let me tell you, there is SO MUCH I would like to say to this man. Hooooo...

So anyway, his changed description is now:

What I am finding amazing: This post attracted so many flamers! We were having people like that in this country, attacking without thought. People who OBEY. Who obey to authority, who obey to rules, who obey when threatened. Who obey to support lines and who obey to economy or politics.

Please note: I do NOT obey. I do have my own opinion and I do have my own way of doing things - and if you don´t like that, you are free to "ignore" me anytime. That´s what freedom´s all about. Decision. And it´s the ONLY freedom you will ever have.

By the way: this wasn´t the first software suffering that fate. And it won´t be the last. Also the last CD/DVD I broke used to splinter everywhere. This one didn´t. So I suppose, people did the same with their CDs/DVDs and complained afterwards, that the splintering effect is dangerous and so 2K has changed it - so you can safely destroy their rubbish when finding out that it doesn´t work *lol*
Anyway, you flamer-kids: I am the fool, for I have spent the money instead of trying to get a cracked stolen version or saying "2K? - that´s those dopes unable to produce working software, right? Okay, forget it, I am no longer interested..." and if you want to flame, do it - but I will hide your comments and put you on my "block-list". Freedom is a wonderful thing, isn´t it? :D
